Bloodlines The Shadows

In my new world, there is a fine line between the living and the dead. The Void is no place for someone whose heart still beats, yet I managed to cross the threshold. I have come face to face with my mother, and learned that the church holds more secrets than I could’ve imagined.

I returned from my prison of darkness, but I didn’t return alone. A shadow creature has latched onto my soul, turning it darker with every passing interaction. He wants to claim my life, and the closer I seem to uncovering my mother’s past, the stronger the link between us becomes. The closer he gets to me.

Nothing in this life is easy, and most of the time the truths hidden in this church just want to bury you with it. If I’ve learned anything about this island, it’s that nothing tends to stay buried for long. All the lies, the secrets, the people, they all eventually return. My mother is no exception.
